LITHOGRAPHY

The work connects analogue photography, lithography and digital scanning. Photographs shot and developed by the artist are transferred onto lithographic stones, embedding the image in the material surface through the printing process.

After printing, the stone itself is digitised through a 3D scan. The image shifts from photograph to physical matrix and finally to a digital object, exploring translation across media and the tension between material processes and digital reproduction.
